The Role

Our co-ops program provides student with a valuable work-integrated learning opportunity in a high tech and highly collaborative team environment.

Every semester we offer at least three Technical Business Analyst co-ops roles. Every co-op starts at four months with the possibilit of an extension following a successful term.

You may have the opportunity to work on any of the following teams:

  • Canada Insurance Projects
  • Risk Capture Design
  • Digital

Regardless of the team you are on, you’ll be trusted with meaningful work from day one, including:

  • Helping our Canadian clients understand what’s possible within a highly configurable platform.
  • Designing and implementing new software solutions with real impact.
  • Applying structured problem‑solving to tackle technical challenges.
  • Managing implementation builds and ensuring quality delivery.
  • Continuously improving the Acturis system.

Your development

Acturis believes that professional development is key to the co-op program. In this position, you will follow a clearly defined co-op path that recognises personal development and contribution to the company.

Acturis will support your development as a co-op with the following:

  • Structured targets, regular feedback and performance reviews.
  • Mentorship program with will regularly review of your co-op course requirements and weekly one-to-ones
  • Opportunities to participate in paid company social events
  • New Joiner Onboarding program so that you can connect with new hires across the organization

About You

Successful applicants tend to have the following attributes:

  • At minimum are in their second year of studies
  • Working towards a degree in a STEM field
  • Strong aptitude for technology and logical problem‑solving
  • An ability to work in teams and learn quickly
  • Computer literate (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel) and able to pick up new concepts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiastic about providing quality customer service
  • Confident and eager to take responsibility

While not required, we always welcome applicants who understand a computer programming language orhaveproficiency in French.
