With 40 users operating across the business, the move to Acturis marks an important strategic step. After four decades with their previous system provider, SigXP, Merit sought a platform that was more modern, streamlined, and aligned with their operational goals. This transition reflects Merit’s intention to move from multiple systems to a unified solution supporting both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines business.
As Merit approached implementation, data migration was the key priority – a foundational step in improving overall efficiency and preparing the business for future growth. They selected Acturis not just for its technology but for its ability to simplify processes, support brokers intuitively, and create a seamless transition from legacy systems. Looking ahead, Merit anticipates Acturis will be an active partner in their continued development – supporting their transition, welcoming feedback, and enabling enhancements that help them operate with greater agility. Once fully established on the system, Merit also plans to introduce additional capabilities such as Acturis’ Rebroking tool to further enhance efficiency and customer value.
We have been with our prior provider for 40 years, although they offered a relatively good system, we were looking for one that was more streamlined, modernized and best fit our needs and our clients’ needs. We found this in Acturis. We did look at other systems prior to committing to Acturis and found no other system as compatible to our needs as this system. We are excited to start using the system and learning all of the aspects of the system going forward.
